Air Liquide’s high-pressure hydrogen refueling station opened in Fos-sur-Mer (Marseille), France on June 26, 2023. Guests who attended the inauguration had the opportunity to visit the large-capacity high-pressure station that is supplied with 1 ton of low-carbon hydrogen a day via pipeline.

In the context of a long-term contract, Air Liquide will cover the hydrogen needs of TotalEnergie's biorefinery.
Air Liquide has been present in the region for over 50 years, and already operates three air separation units, a hydrogen production unit and a hydrogen network. In Fos-sur-Mer, for example, it operates Europe's first high-pressure hydrogen station for long-distance trucks.
On August 23, a new Hydrogen Refueling Station (HRS) supplied by Air Liquide opened in the DAEDO Energy bus depot, in Busan, South Korea. Entirely financed by Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) for the city of Busan, this HRS is built using Air Liquide technology and will be operated by DAEDO, a local station operator.
